We’re finally in the “safe” stage for gardening here in Colorado, and I’m getting ready to plant my little veggie and herb plot for the season. Yes, we have to wait until May to plant here, until the risk of snow and frost has passed!

I’m hoping for lots of kale and sage this year. There’s something so satisfying about growing your own food — and I’m not even an earthy-crunchy Boulder type of girl! Fingers crossed for a bumper crop.

In the meantime, there was still plenty of stuff to amuse, educate, and wonder about this week.
